Supple Lips

Here are some tips to try to have super soft lips:

1. Brown Sugar Method: 

• 1 part Brown Sugar
• 1 part Olive Oil
• 1 part Honey

Mix ingredients together into a pasty mixture. Gently rub the mixture in a circular motion onto lips. Rinse the mixture off with warm water. Be sure to apply lip balm or Vaseline after this to maintain soft lips.

2. Toothbrush Method:

• 1 toothbrush 

After brushing your teeth, wash off your brush and exfoliate your lips. In gentle circular motion rub the brush onto lips. Again, apply lip balm or Vaseline.

Organizing

I love organizing my closet and my makeup bin. Being organizing can be great for everyday successful outfits. Here are some tips on cleaning up your closet and makeup bin.

Clothes: try to clean out your closet at least once every 2 months - you will surprise how much items you will find that you are not wearing. Do not be afraid to shop in your own closet or add to a donation pile.

Color coordination and type of clothing is key to a great closet. For example, try to put all your work clothes in one section and then break it out to button downs, sweaters, dressy shirts and then color coordinate. This way you have all of your work clothes in one section. Do the same for your weekend and special occasions clothes.

Items to fold:

Jeans
Tanks
T-Shirts
Heavy sweaters

Items to hang:

Dress pants
Skirts
Light weight sweaters
Dresses

Makeup/Hair items:

Rubbermaid bins with lids are so helpful for your makeup storage, this way they are not all over place.
Try to put items that are similar together - this way its easier to find.

For hair products: store flat irons, blow dryers, and products together. For bobby pins, try storing in a Tic Tac container.

Thick Eyebrows!

I know this seem crazy, why is she blogging about "thick eyebrows?" However, its one of the rave this year and has made a come back. Here's some tips on making your eyebrows stand out.

To get thick eyebrows, you will need to let them grow out, I know the brushy look. However, in the long run you will love how they look. Do not over tweeze or wax them during the grow out process.

Recently, I was introduced to Smashbox Brow Tech To Go and fell in love with how amazing my brows looked after using. Brow Tech has two functions:

1. Pencil to fill and define your brows
2. Gel to hold brows in place after grooming

Pro: This is a great product to make your eyebrows look amazing and well groomed.

Here's another way to get the a sassy appeal as the product above but a cheaper version.

1. A matte eyeshadow or pencil that matches your eyebrows - I like the eyeshadow better because it looks more natural than pencil. Again, remember what we were thought as kids about coloring, stay in the lines, same thing applies here. Make sure to blend well.

Sexy Skin :)

Do you always wonder how Hollywood stars get glowing, smooth and sexy skin? Well I always wondered too, so I did a little research and found an awesome recipe thanks to REDBOOKMAG.com. They call this "shower smoothie."

2 oz. wet coffee grounds
2oz. Espom salts
1 ripe avocado, mashed
2 oz. plain Greek  yogurt
Sunflower seed oil

In a medium bowl, mix coffee grounds and salts. In another bowl, mix avocado and yogurt. Combine the contents of both bowls stirrinf thoroughly. Mix in just enough oil to make a smooth paste. In the shower, get wet, turn the water off. Then using the palm of your each hand, scrub your entire body from head to feet for several minutes. After rinse, and you should be glowly... :) Enjoy!!!

Fashion Do’s and Don’t For A Night Out!!

So every girl has a night out around town, either going out to dinner or to lounges. However, there is always the issue of what to wear depending on the scene of where you are going to. Here are some tips for your next night out:

Don’t Over Accessorize!!!!!!!

Do Keep It Simple:

Earrings: If you are wearing large chandler earrings, a necklace is not needed.

Necklace: It can be stressed enough that if you’re going to wear a large necklace, make sure that is the only jeweled item on your outfit. Meaning, clothing that have diamonds, stones, sequins, or a ruffle neckline or ruffles shouldn’t be worn with a necklace. Any top or dresses with those types of jewels or accents on them do not need a necklace because it would only kill the outfit.

Bracelets: Only wear one that really compliments the outfit.

Bangles: If you not have a bracelet, bangles is a great addition especially since they come in sets. And stacking bangles are better look than wearing two bracelets.

Rings: A great cocktail ring adds essence to your hand; make sure not to wear it on the same hand as the bracelet or bangles.

Shoes: So, shoes are the staple to an outfit. However, make sure not to mismatch the color scheme. If you are wearing a same color outfit from shirt, pants, skirts or even dress, be bold with your shoe color. For example, if you are wearing a black dress, be daring and wear red peep toes or pumps. If you are wearing a coral pink dress, be sure to match with a nude color pair of shoes. If you have a color block (meaning your top is one color and the bottom is one color) be sure to wear one of those colors shoes.

Bags: It’s ok to carry a tote bag, however that just makes the outfit casual not sexy. To be sexy, a clutch bag that matches your shoes with be a great pair.
