Supple Lips

Here are some tips to try to have super soft lips:

1. Brown Sugar Method: 

• 1 part Brown Sugar
• 1 part Olive Oil
• 1 part Honey

Mix ingredients together into a pasty mixture. Gently rub the mixture in a circular motion onto lips. Rinse the mixture off with warm water. Be sure to apply lip balm or Vaseline after this to maintain soft lips.

2. Toothbrush Method:

• 1 toothbrush 

After brushing your teeth, wash off your brush and exfoliate your lips. In gentle circular motion rub the brush onto lips. Again, apply lip balm or Vaseline.

Organizing

I love organizing my closet and my makeup bin. Being organizing can be great for everyday successful outfits. Here are some tips on cleaning up your closet and makeup bin.

Clothes: try to clean out your closet at least once every 2 months - you will surprise how much items you will find that you are not wearing. Do not be afraid to shop in your own closet or add to a donation pile.

Color coordination and type of clothing is key to a great closet. For example, try to put all your work clothes in one section and then break it out to button downs, sweaters, dressy shirts and then color coordinate. This way you have all of your work clothes in one section. Do the same for your weekend and special occasions clothes.

Items to fold:

Jeans
Tanks
T-Shirts
Heavy sweaters

Items to hang:

Dress pants
Skirts
Light weight sweaters
Dresses

Makeup/Hair items:

Rubbermaid bins with lids are so helpful for your makeup storage, this way they are not all over place.
Try to put items that are similar together - this way its easier to find.

For hair products: store flat irons, blow dryers, and products together. For bobby pins, try storing in a Tic Tac container.

Thick Eyebrows!

I know this seem crazy, why is she blogging about "thick eyebrows?" However, its one of the rave this year and has made a come back. Here's some tips on making your eyebrows stand out.

To get thick eyebrows, you will need to let them grow out, I know the brushy look. However, in the long run you will love how they look. Do not over tweeze or wax them during the grow out process.

Recently, I was introduced to Smashbox Brow Tech To Go and fell in love with how amazing my brows looked after using. Brow Tech has two functions:

1. Pencil to fill and define your brows
2. Gel to hold brows in place after grooming

Pro: This is a great product to make your eyebrows look amazing and well groomed.

Here's another way to get the a sassy appeal as the product above but a cheaper version.

1. A matte eyeshadow or pencil that matches your eyebrows - I like the eyeshadow better because it looks more natural than pencil. Again, remember what we were thought as kids about coloring, stay in the lines, same thing applies here. Make sure to blend well.
