Tinted Moisturizer

Tinted Moisturizer is a great item for the warmer weather. It's combines the benefits of skin care and a light foundation for a natural and luminous complexion. Most tinted mositurizer have SPF protection, last all day, and has shades to suit all complexions.

I love MAC Studio Moisture Tint, which comes in different shades. It's easy to apply and with some bronzer/blush, mascara, & eyeliner it's a sexy glow look for summer.

Rose Gold

Braids

Growing up I always had braids. However, braids are as popular now as they were back then. Braids are very versatile trend, dressy braided hair can be wore to weddings or big events.

Tip: Make sure to apply a styling cream and blow out your hair so that its smooth for braiding.

Makeup Primer

After an hour and half visit at Sephora, I fell in love with makeup primer. Primer added a brilliant layer of smoothness to my skin. I was very impress on how well after applying primer then applying foundation my skin was even and photo ready.

My sugesstion for makeup primer is Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer Light. The only negative side I found was the price. However, it was worth every penny.  :)

Bangles

This fashion season’s most adorable accessory to add to your collection is bangles. Bangles of all sizes and colors can be added to your causal office outfit or your outfit for the night out on the town.  They range from different styles and materials. Water Your Skin!!

Moisturizer is very important part to daily skin care. So choosing the right moisturizer to do the job is often hard. Following a routine of cleansing, exfoliating, and moistening with the right products can lead to beautiful skin.  Here are my favorite moisturizers:

A good home remedy is an avocado mask.  This leaves skin feeling hydrated.

·         Mash the avocado with a fork until creamy.

·         Add about a teaspoon of honey to the mix.

·         Apply to face, leaving it on for about 10 minutes.

·         Then rise with cool to lukewarm water.

Sun Kissed Alert!!

With beach season coming up, we need to make sure that we protect our skin. The sun’s harmful rays are not good for us in the long run. According to Skincancer.org, “One in five Americans will develop skin cancer over the course of a lifetime.” Sunscreen is one resource that we should use, however not the only prevention.  The link below is a good source for tips on protection.

Sunscreen use is not only for when going to the beach, make sure that you put it on whenever you are going out into the sun, at least 15 minutes before. When purchasing sunscreen make sure that it has SPF of 30 and higher, I suggest using Avon’s Skin So Soft Bug Guard Plus, which acts as both sunscreen and bug guard.

However, there are those who crave that sun-kissed glow, my suggestion is Olay Quench Plus Touch of Sun Body Lotion. This product not only gives you that glow all year round but its moisturize your skin.

Perfect Salon Hair At Home :)

The saying “the grass isn’t always greener on the other side,” is so true when it comes to our hair. I am positively one of those girls who one day wants curly hair and then straight hair the next day. So I found some products that let me split my week up so I can have both beachy waves and then pin-straight hair.

Beachy Wave Hair

[1] Prep your hair with your favorite shampoo & condition.

[2] Blow-dry hair until dry, add body boosting product to roots.

[3] Curl your hair with a curling iron then pull the end of each curl after curling, then shake your hair.

My recommendation for body boosting product is Garnier Fructis Style Body Boost Root Booster. (Sold at local drugstore)

Pin-Straight Hair

[1] Prep your hair with your favorite shampoo & condition. Apply Advance Techniques Lotus Shield by Avon. Lotus Shield keeps hair smooth for 3-days. (Available via an Avon Representative)

[2] Blow-dry hair until dry with a large rolling brush.

[3] Use a flat-iron to add final touches.
